How to root Samsung Galaxy J7 with SuperSU
Enable‘USB debugging’ and ‘OEM Unlock’ option from setting>developer option>. To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times. Connect your phone to the PC.
Download SuperSU.zip on your PC and copy it to your phone sd card.
Download and install Samsung Galaxy USB Driverson your PC .
Download Latest Odin Tool on your PC and extract the zip file.
Download Official TWRP Recovery for Samsung Galaxy J7 on your PC and extract the zip file.
Steps to Root and Install TWRP Recovery on Samsung Galaxy J7
（1） Enter into download mode: turn off your phone and press and hold the ‘Home + Volume Down + Power’ buttons together until you see the download mode screen.
（2）Run the Odin_v3.10.7.exe file on your PC.
Once you enter into Download mode, you see an ID: COM port turned blue and Added message in Odin message box means your device has recognized by Odin.
Make sure that only tick “F.Reset Time“option. Do not tick option Auto Reboot
（3）Now locate and add the twrp-3.0.0-xxx.img.tar file (you downloaded from above) to the AP/PDA tab in Odin.
（4）Now click ‘Start‘ button and it will start flashing the file. Wait until you see ‘Pass‘ in Green Color on Odin screen.
（1） Reboot your Samsung J7 into Recovery Mode .
（2）Select ‘Install’ and scroll all the way to the bottom till you see the ‘SuperSU.zip’ file.
（3）Select the .zip file and swipe the bar to confirm. This will start flashing the .zip file.
（4） Once the flashing finished you will see the ‘Reboot System’ option, click it to reboot your device.
Once the device reboots, you will see the SuperSU app appear in your app menu. You can also confirm if your device is rooted by installing and running the Root Checker application.
