Rooting 101: Root through ADB debugging & SuperSU.zip pack




    1. To start, the purpose of installing SuperSU from Google Play store (or any Android market) is to utilize its root access management capabilities. In other words, the mobile device must be rooted before installation. Don’t be scared by the description above, rooting is actually pretty easy and I will show it to you step by step.

    2. Before flashing SuperSU, one must go online and search for the respective Recovery.img file that align with his mobile device. Flashing Recovery requires installing ADB tool on computer and its process also needs to be done on PC.

    The process of flashing into Recovery Mode is listed as follows:

    1. Install ADB debugging tools on PC
    2. Connect phone to PC and activate USB debugging mode from phone
    3. Open CMD terminal, adb folder. Input command: cd c:\users\username\desktop\adb
    4. Activate bootloader and input the following code to the CMD terminal: adb reboot bootloader

    5. Flash the Recovery.img file
    6. Type in the following command: fastboot flash Recovery.img

    c:\users\username\desktop\Recovery.img

    Flashing in the SuperSU.zip in recovery mode

    1. Download the .zip package and save it in the SD card
    2. Reboot the phone to recovery mode
    3. Find the zip file in recovery menu and click the power button
    4. After successful installation, reboot your phone and you are all set
