Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update has been recently released for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 model number N910F. Everyone wish to get the latest Android OS version, so if you are one of those who have installed stock Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on a rooted Galaxy Note 4 then your phone will not be considered a rooted version anymore and the previous root methods won’t work on this one as well. But being an advanced Android user, you’ll happy to know that you can now root Galaxy Note 4 N910F running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Thanks to Phil3759, a recognized developer who has developed a modified kernel for Galaxy Note 4. In guide you’ll be required to have a custom recovery installed such as TWRP in order to flash this custom kernel on the phone. After flashing the custom kernel, you’ll need to flash the SuperSU package also to get the root access.
Keep in mind that this process will trip KNOX and will be disabled, it means that you’ll not be able to install or update Samsung apps. So if you are interested to get the administrative access over the internal file system of your Galaxy Note 4 to get much of it like install custom ROMs and third-party apps that needs root access then go ahead and follow the given step-by-step guide.
    Note:
These instructions and custom kernel given in this guide is working only with the Galaxy Note 4 N910F variant. Do not use this guide to root any other device or incorrect variant. Please check the model number of your device first before proceeding to the rooting guide.
